" A refreshingly different and impressive first book from a well-respected designer/pattern-writer. It is an excellent introduction to designing for knit - clear, easily understandable and accessible, nothing superfluous or confusing. It will encourage knitters to be creative and make the jump to devising their own designs. Really well illustrated, with good examples of translating inspiration into knit stitches, then turning these into lovely knitted accessories. The content is well suited to both experienced and more novice knitters, as it maps out how to do your own thing but also has a great range of ready-to-knit accessory patterns. "
